Introduction
In 2014, a support initiative under the name “Small Excursion” began in Seoul, South Korea, providing monthly book assistance to students at Seongmunbakk School—an elementary school marginalized by society. Although these efforts paused due to personal circumstances, in November 2024, a group of like-hearted individuals in Cambodia came together under a new name, SPRING WAY, rekindling the mission to aid those who are struggling and overlooked.
Membership Qualifications
Any person who wishes to support those in hardship—by providing monthly donations (either in kind or monetary) or offering physical help—is welcome to become a member of Springway.
Donations are made every month on the 30th, regardless of the amount, deposited into the group’s account as agreed.
Each donation period cannot exceed one year per term, with options of either 6 months or 1 year. Extensions may be granted after the term ends.
Corporations and organizations are also welcome to join as members.
Operational Structure
Springway’s activities are coordinated by the Chair, Treasurer, and Operations Committee, who designate both service areas and beneficiaries.
To ensure smooth governance, there is no limit to the number of advisory or counsel members.
Every six months, we provide members with a transparent overview of all volunteer activities carried out during that period.
Furthermore, 10% of all monthly donations are reserved to cover Springway’s operational expenses.
Conditions for Volunteering
Our support focuses on children and the elderly living in poverty, while individuals with disabilities or those experiencing extreme poverty are excluded from this particular scope.
Membership Revocation
Membership will be revoked if an individual deceives the organization for personal profit, thereby betraying Springway’s mission.
